Rolled into Glacier np by 11 and we were on the transit bus by noon. The bussing system helps alleviate some of the traffic in the park which is a nice touch, plus I don't have to drive. Glacier's mountains shoot straight up, are snow packed at the top, and look granite. We hit Hidden Lake trail and were treated with great vistas and wild life.
Rocky Mountain Polar Bear
Even the goats love the view
Mike attempted some glacading
It was supposed to be a six mile trek...
We eventually made it, but the shuttles were no longer running. Thankfully, a nice couple and their daughter scooped us up after making the same error in trail length.
All told, we covered over 16 miles... Hip replacement, here I come!
