Marmot Please!

We did A great hike up to Amphitheater Lake. Mike decided to cool off but that was a little too cold for my blood.  perhaps I should since I am on day 6 without a proper shower.  We snacked for about 3 minutes before we were invaded by a couple marmot. These critters were fearless... one attempted to steal my backpack. Mike wasn't having that!  He gave the marmot a good ole fashion rat tail slap with his t-shirt... That'll learn him to mess with us.  Looking forward to some fireworks tonight.  Happy 4th of July
